Getting Hands-On with Modeling and Processing OpenTelemetry Data
The Cisco Observability Platform provides core capabilities for developers to build OpenTelemetry-based solutions that provide visibility and actionable insights to consumers across their core technology and business stack. Solutions built on the platform can solve for a number of different observability-related use cases. These use cases include (but are not limited to) the following:
- Ingestion and correlation of telemetry data from a wide variety of sources
- Enhancing functionality of already existing solutions built on the Cisco Observability Platform
- Bespoke user interfaces
- Alerting, actioning, and anomaly detection/response
While the Cisco Observability Platform Developer Fundamentals workshop focuses on establishing fundamentals for working with the platform, this workshop focuses primarily on methods for modeling out entities that correspond to data being ingested by the platform.
